Participate, the Truth is Now Available
By; Aquataine for Truth Quest
Well, here we sit on the on the doorstep of a new era of extremes in Canada and around the world. An era of tough choices, diverging ideologies, and divisive debate about how to make those choices or what those choices should even be. The whole dilemma is exacerbated by the latest trend towards the politics of confrontation and derision.
On one side of the debate the glass half full side says that, as concerns the economy, things are fine and the system works well but is just having some growing pains so let’s all get behind the global march of “progress” and “wealth management”. The other side, the glass half empty folks, are focusing primarily on the warning signs that are going up across the breadth of our society from health to finance and all stops in between.
One thing that should concern us all is the inequity of perspectives available where on one side we have huge, well funded, well oiled and often controlled media propaganda machine primarily controlled by a few media giants and their vassals in Canada . On the other side we have a growing but none the less weak, splintered, and often volunteer network that tries to disseminate their side of the story as best they can usually hitting road blocks all the way. Which one is most likely to get heard? Which one is most likely to get a populist profile? Which one is the most likely to get the most public funding and which one is the most easily marginalized?
When all this is added together and the natural human tendency to avoid and deny bad news is factored in is it any wonder that our societies in this age of materialism walk so blindly into the maze of social and political bondage destined once again to get lost, confused and end up disillusioned.
Fortunately one thing has now changed, no, unfortunately not human nature, but instead, the access to information is now just a mouse click away. A whole new world of possible “truths” is now available and all that is required of each of us is that we participate, stop numbing our minds with false media and take a few minute to look for more answers and then get together and discuss the options and possibilities with friends and family or even social networks. Sure there is lots of spin and misinformation on the web but is that any reason to hide in a darkened room? Somewhere in the midst of all the information on MSM, on Truth Webs and even on conspiracy theory sites lays the “real” truth. All that is required of us is participation.
We must avoid being one of the masses that suddenly wake up in the middle of the next Great Recession, perhaps only a year away, and asks; what happened to my pension, my healthcare, my home equity, my clean air….gasp….my children’s future? We may not get too many more kicks at the can and we need to start getting it right. We need to start forcing our political leaders to get it right.
Here is one of the key lessons (Truths) of politics vs the economy that I have come to grips with lately, and that we should all have understood by now if only we were “enabled” to know.
POLITICIANS HATE DEFLATION BECAUSE IT STRESSES THE SOCIAL FABRIC AND COSTS THEM VOTES [1].
POLITICIANS LOVE INFLATION, DISPITE WHAT THEY SAY, BECAUSE IT MAKES THE MARKETS, AND THEM, A LOT RICHER
The resultant reality is that when central banks print money (dept) they in turn create inflation [2], artificially, call it growth, and delay the inevitable resultant burst bubbles and deflation as long as possible. The more a frenzy of inflation and buying can be induced the more money can be skimmed into certain circles without the tax payer noticing [3]. When the bubbles finally break the payment of the dept is avoided by those who enabled it, and disproportionately benefited from it, and the middle class is handed the bill. This is not how the economy, politics or indeed our democracy is supposed to work.
WAKE UP WORLD….TRUTH OUT!!!!
