 The Pipeline of Power
Watching the financial fallout from the puppet show in the EU, regarding Greece, today makes me realize how perverse the markets have become. Historically when bad news strikes then the fear of financial turmoil has caused them to falter but in today's distorted reality the opposite is more likely to happen. Why?
There are a few reasons for this but in the new world of tax payer bail outs it follows that as things get worse the likely hood of governments stepping in and bailing out the fraudulent investment houses increases towards 100%.  So, like predatory fish the stock brokers circle the market getting ever more excited as the prey(stimulus money) gets closer to being released. Thus, not only are the said investors rewarded for careless practices but the whole market begins to "game" the system for profit thereby taking the tax payer, via the government, to the cleaners and like apathetic bait fish, we allow it.
Make no mistake, governments and the corporate elites that enable them, are complicit in this  redistribution of wealth as are each and every one of us that sit idly by and allow it to happen. Be warned, we are all about to suffer in many ways for our apathy towards this financial manipulation. The powers that be will tell us that the suffering is necessary to prevent financial Armageddon just like in 2008-9 but just HOW much I wonder. I wonder however if the suffering is nothing more than a byproduct of a flawed game we have all been brainwashed into playing . Perhaps we should stop playing their game , seeing  through their eyes and supporting them with our pocketbooks. It is time for each and every one of us to awaken from our sterilized, collective coma's, turn off the idiot box and start to react to the coming threat before we end up like Greece, mislead, dependent and financially broke. Canada is not an island and our governments are not innocent bystanders. The future needs us NOW. Each one of us need to support citizens advocacy and in turn  boycott the bad apples in the Pipeline of Power.
